Estimator (Mechanical or Electrical) – South Manchester – HYBRID WORKING

£50,000-£70,000 + Car + Corporate Benefits

Leading Building Services Consultancy are expanding their management division. Widely recognized as one of the fastest-growing M&E consultancies covering work solely in the North-West, they currently require 2 Estimators from either a Mechanical or Electrical background to produce detailed estimating proposals for various sites including:

• Schools and Educational establishments
• Retail outlets
• Hospitality venues
• Government buildings

Duties of the Estimator include:

• Tender and Bid Preparation: analyzing drawings and tender documents to prepare detailed, accurate costings including materials, labour, and subcontractor requirements.
• Using estimating software or Excel to compile material and labour lists.
• Supplier and Subcontractor management: obtaining and evaluating quotes, maintaining competitive pricing.
• Cost and risk analysis, providing market evaluations and proposals during pre-tender and post-tender meetings.
• Producing clear and comprehensive estimate reports and proposals.

Estimator experience required:

• 5+ years as an Estimator within a Building Services or FM Environment.
• Technical qualifications (Electrical or Mechanical) are beneficial but not essential.
• Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical systems.
• Experience with estimating software (e.g., Estimation, Amtech, Trimble, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Excellent time management skills, customer engagement, and site walkabout experience.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain.
• A full UK driving licence.
