The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across Scotland, with occasional site travel as required. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a civil engineering contractor and a strong background in estimating within the civil, rail, or energy sectors. You will be confident pricing from first principles and collaborating within an established estimating team. Tendering Identify and assess relevant tender opportunities.Analyse tender documentation and prepare accurate cost estimates.Produce detailed quotations and tender submissions. Estimating & Documentation Collect and analyse project information to prepare Bills of Quantities.Maintain records of tender submissions and monitor outcomes. Post‑Award Support the smooth handover of awarded projects to delivery teams.Assist with document control and administrative tasks within the estimating function. Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction industry, ideally within estimating, procurement, civil engineering, or quantity surveying.Previous experience in civil and renewable energy projects is advantageous. Skills Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.Strong communication and organisational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Other Full UK driving licence.Proactive attitude with a positive, team‑focused approach.Commitment to professional growth and continuous development.
