Telephony Engineer – Digitalization of Data – Green Field Project – £55,000 + Benefits – Basildon / Essex (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing UC systems (VoIP, SIP, messaging), integrated with CRM.
• Monitoring system performance, applying updates, supporting upgrades.
• Integrating UC tools with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and CRM — driving continuous improvement.
• Managing vendors, licenses, and technical escalations.
• Maintaining documentation (CMDB), supporting user training and adoption.
• Ensuring telecoms systems are well-configured, up to date, and running seamlessly for reliable communication across the organization and with external partners.
• Contributing to data capture of carbon and cost savings to provide actionable insights for sustainability goals.

Skills & Qualifications

• AWS Telephony / AWS Connect experience, and knowledge of Gamma Inbound.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Teams UCX.
• Experience with Meta/WhatsApp and SMS principles.
• Planning and implementing UC systems (VoIP, SIP, messaging) and integration with CRM.
