EUC Applications Analyst - 3-Month Contract (Hybrid)
Duration: 3 months (with possible extension)
Hybrid working model - 2 days in office

Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Applications Analyst to support a major Application Rationalisation project. This role will focus on reviewing, rationalising, and streamlining End User Controls (EUC) applications across the business.

This assignment is ideal for a Technical Analyst with strong Excel and data analysis skills, and experience managing application portfolios, who can coordinate between technical and business teams to deliver clear recommendations.

Engagement via Umbrella Company Only; all taxes & NI deducted at source.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end process of rationalising EUC applications, including identifying unused, outdated, or duplicate applications.
  • Maintain and update a centralised Excel tracker of applications.
  • Analyse survey responses and data to provide recommendations on application retention, remediation, or retirement.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across IT, Risk, and Business teams to drive the review process.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to senior stakeholders and the steering group.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and tracking of tasks to ensure project milestones are met.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting).
  • Proven analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Strong organisational and coordination abilities with attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders across different teams.
  • Understanding of software applications, licensing, and asset management processes (desirable).
  • Experience with Asset Management tools (advantageous).
