The role

Reporting to the Staff Engagement Manager, you will play a key part in delivering events and shaping a programme of activities that connects your colleagues with UAL’s learning and teaching development agenda, ensuring every event maximises impact, engagement and attendee experience.
With a focus on operational delivery, you will manage logistics, liaise with event leads and coordinate delivery teams to ensure the swift and smooth delivery of events. You will anticipate needs from both staff and visitor perspectives, recognise resource gaps and areas for improvement, as well as identify roles to be recruited through Arts Temps.
You will also collaborate with the Content Coordinator to analyse feedback, monitor engagement and continuously evolve UAL’s events offer.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, people-focused environments, and brings creativity and initiative to problem solving.
You will have demonstrable experience of events management and delivery (ideally within a cultural or higher education setting), combined with strong project management expertise.
Equally important is your ability to design and coordinate an engaging programme of Learning and Teaching activities for academic and professional staff at all levels. You will also manage and coordinate a directorate events service, delivering a range of objectives while ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.
