Technology Audit Manager – Edinburgh (Hybrid, 3 days in office)

We’re looking for an experienced Technology Audit Manager to join our retail banking client’s Internal Audit team. This is an exciting opportunity to take real ownership in a small, agile IA environment while also benefiting from access to the expertise and scale of a larger parent company.

The role:

As Technology Audit Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering the audit plan across all aspects of technology, including but not limited to cyber, data, and payments. This is a hands-on role in a small team, so you’ll have the opportunity to work across the full spectrum of technology audits, developing broad exposure across the bank.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering end-to-end technology audits
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
• Operating with autonomy and accountability, with minimal day-to-day oversight
• Contributing to an agile, collaborative team culture
• Drawing on subject matter experts and resources where needed

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in technology audit (internal audit strongly preferred; external audit candidates with FS/Banking exposure will be considered)
• Broad technology knowledge – generalist experience valued over niche specialism
• Relevant professional qualification, or working towards (e.g. CISA, CISM, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a lean team, balancing autonomy with collaboration
