We’re looking for an External Reporting Accountant to join our central finance team. You’ll play a key role in how we report, plan, and manage our finances across the group.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your work will help ensure our financial reporting is clear, accurate, and timely. You’ll be involved in:
- Preparing monthly consolidated reports and Board packs.
- Supporting the production of statutory accounts for all group entities.
- Helping with external audits and tax queries.
- Documenting and improving our finance processes and controls.
- Providing technical accounting support across the business.
- Contributing to projects such as acquisition accounting and new standards.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who’s confident with numbers and comfortable working across different teams. You’ll need:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Experience in a similar role or from an external audit background.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (FRS102).
- Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Clear communication skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.
- A willingness to get involved and take ownership.
- Experience in industrial services or multi-site businesses is helpful, but not essential.
