Fabric maintenance engineers - Working across West Surrey
My client are a mechanical engineering who have been in operation for over 50 years providing mechanical engineering solutions to their diverse portfolio of clients.
Role and coverage
They currently require X 2 mobile Fabric maintenance engineers to work across the Surrey region, carrying out the following works with commercial properties :
Preferred Skills Set or Experience
- Painting and Decorating (Primary skill)
- Carpentry (Internal and external)
- Plaster Repairs
- Roofing Repairs
- Flat Roof Repairs (Basic lead work only)
- Concreting
- Brickwork Repairs
- External door and window replacements
- Emergency glazing
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Fencing (Panels and posts)
Responsibilities
Delivering maintenance and repairs for a prestigious client in the Surrey area. The operative will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of commercial and civic buildings and some sheltered housing.
Requirements
- Trade Qualifications Required (NVQ / City and Guilds Level 2 / 3)
- IPAF and/or PASMA desirable
Please note engineers must be okay with working outside of West Surrey in Sussex and London on rare occasions.
Salary and Benefits
£32k to £42k dependant on experience and qualifications.
Travel time paid after 30 mins EW
40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 0800 to 1630 hours (30 minute lunch)
