Leicester/ Market Harborough  £40,000 to £80,000

The Firm

My client is a well-established and highly respected law firm with a strong presence across Leicestershire. The Role

• Providing clear, timely, and practical advice to family law clients
• Managing your own caseload while keeping clients regularly updated on progress and costs
• Preparing and drafting a wide range of family law documents, including divorce petitions, financial statements, and court applications
• Meeting clients, taking instructions, and representing them with professionalism and empathy
• Attending court where needed
• Supporting colleagues within the team and providing cover during absences
• Getting involved in business development, including writing articles, attending networking events, and building strong client relationships
• Taking responsibility for the financial and administrative aspects of your cases
• Helping to mentor junior team members where required

You

• A qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with 2–7 years PQE in family law
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload, including divorce, finances, and children matters
• Strong drafting and advocacy skills, with excellent attention to detail
• A confident communicator who builds strong client relationships with ease
• Organised, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Someone with a commercial outlook who enjoys contributing to the growth of the department
• Able to travel occasionally to the Market Harborough office
