Equifind are proud to be supporting a brilliant asset management client to recruit a fees analyst to work from their Edinburgh office, for the next six months.

Due to investment and a reshuffle in the team, there is now a need to add a fees analyst to support the head of department with all things BAU and some project work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the fee team by processing the end-to-end operational fee process each quarter
  • Support the set-up of new client and adviser fee accounts
  • Monitoring to identify any incorrect fee set-ups
  • Monitoring to identify any fees which are at detriment to the client (i.e. above our standard rate)
  • Ongoing monitoring of MI to assure staff account fees are in line with our policy
  • Work with the fee team to support the updating and management of the fee discount / fee holiday approval process for new and existing clients
  • Work with the fee team to manage the fee discount process for IFA firms to ensure we have a consistent approach across the firm
  • Work with the fee team to support the maintenance of the fee discount register and review on a quarterly basis with the department heads
  • Support the identification of enhancements to existing MI reporting to maintain exception reports to identify gaps in the fee discount approval process for existing clients
  • Monitor and work with the fee team to manage the process for all fee amendment requests
  • Improve processes and identify efficiencies and continuous improvements to benefit the business and its clients
  • Where necessary liaise with internal teams to ensure high level of data accuracy
  • Participation in other finance projects and processes as required by senior management

Business

An international asset management firm headquartered in London with operations across multiple countries.

You will join a great business and an established team to work with. In addition to handling the daily BAU, you’ll need to really investigate current procedures in place and drive any change for the future, that will make a more efficient framework.

The role is hybrid, and you will be expected to be in the office three days per week.

Background and experience

  • A background in financial services is preferable
  • A background of working with and supporting clients for a minimum of three years
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, systems, controls and projects
  • Show a track record of developing and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Figaro is desirable

Salary

The base salary for this fees analyst position will be in the range of £50-60k pro rata, depending on your industry experience.

This role is to start ASAP but we will look at candidates on 2-4 weeks' notice if you tick every box.

There is a real chance that this could go permanent if proves a success for all parties.
