Field Service Project Manager - Marine & Power Generation

NMS Recruit is seeking an experienced Field Service Project Manager to join a leading OEM in the marine and power sector. You will be responsible for managing and delivering customer service orders, contracts, and LTSA's (Long-Term Service Agreements), including technical and commercial aspects for UK and overseas projects. The role involves overseeing planning, execution, and invoicing to ensure successful delivery within budget, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  1. Management of Customer Orders: Oversee all aspects from planning to invoicing, ensuring alignment with contracts and managing all commercial requirements.
  2. Customer & Interfaces: Act as the first contact for customers regarding service orders, contracts, spares, repairs, and upgrades. Maintain communication with stakeholders and attend site visits and meetings as needed.
  3. Enquiries & Quotations: Evaluate inquiries, prepare detailed quotations with risk mitigation, and present bids aligned with business goals.
  4. Mobilising & Project Delivery: Coordinate activities between internal teams, subcontractors, and field engineers. Manage spare parts and subcontract supply, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  5. Order Intake & Growth: Identify opportunities for new work and support growth strategies by understanding customer needs and proposing solutions.
  6. Internal Reporting: Maintain accurate records in SAP and other systems, and provide regular KPI, forecast, and financial reports.
  7. Project Finances: Oversee cost management to achieve margins, ensure accurate invoicing, and collaborate with finance.
  8. Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks early, maintaining risk registers and strategies.
