The File Inception team at DWF are hiring for a Team Administrator based in Manchester on a hybrid working pattern.
As a File Inception Team Administrator, you will be the first point of contact within the firm when it comes to new instructions coming into DWF. This is an excellent first step for anyone wanting to expand their career in legal administration with exposure to key stakeholders, both internally and externally, and to our litigation processes and procedures. You will have insight into how cases are compiled and will become familiar with some of the litigation processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Processing instructions for all new matters.
- Ensuring that all cases are opened within the full requirements of the clients and internal SLAs.
- Accurate data entry of information on to a case management system.
- Ensuring files are opened in time to meet with specific court deadlines related to the file.
- Handling incoming calls relating to new or existing matters and fielding enquiries.
- Receiving unreferenced items of mail and obtaining the required detail by making outbound calls to related parties.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- Experience within Microsoft office, especially MS Outlook.
- The ability to work well as part of a team in addition to being comfortable working autonomously.
- Focused, have an eye for detail and can work to a stringent process and timetable within a bespoke case management system.
- The Ability to read and extract relevant information from clients' instructions is key to success in this role.
- The ability to meet a daily file opening target.
Desirable
- A background in Law would be advantageous however it is not essential
