Salary: £30,600 - £40,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our Joint Venture Finance team, working to deliver two of the UK’s largest transmission projects – Eastern Green Link 2 & 3. Delivered in partnership with SSEN Transmission and National Grid, these projects represent a significant investment in the UK’s energy network and will play a vital role in achieving net zero and supporting the UK’s future security of supply.
You will
- Play a critical role in the cash management of the company, analysing incoming and outgoing payments, and ensuring that sufficient liquidity is always maintained.
- Perform all Accounts Receivable duties, including creating and submitting customer invoices, receipting of incoming payments, resolving aged debt items, and reconciling the AR ledger.
- Have oversight of the procure-to-pay process, working closely with key stakeholders across the business, to ensure that the entire lifecycle from requisition to payment is efficient and compliant.
- Support the month end close process by preparing accruals and other transactions, including the setup and analysis of supporting schedules.
- Support the year-end reporting process, including being involved in the annual external audit.
You have
- Previous finance experience is desirable, however not essential, as we also welcome applicants who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and develop within the role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with Oracle-based systems is advantageous.
- Ability to accurately process information with precision and minimal errors.
- Able to effectively plan, organise and prioritise tasks and activities to maximise productivity.
- Eager to explore and gain a deeper understanding of the role and industry by asking insightful questions, seeking innovative solutions to challenges, and continuously learning.
