The Role

We’re looking for a Finance Associate to join the Tyk Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, dynamic organisation with strong career development potential in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Bank reconciliations and transaction reviews
  • Maintenance of the fixed assets register
  • Monthly review of accounts, including prepayments and accruals
  • Assistance with monthly management accounts and month-end close
  • Handling ad hoc queries from key stakeholders

You will work closely with the hands-on Finance Manager and CFO, helping to shape the finance function and build strong foundations as we scale. You will also support accounting partners/advisors across the UK, USA, Singapore and Canada. What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in high-growth or scaling organisations
  • Experience building and scaling finance processes in a global, multi-entity environment
  • Familiarity with VAT/Sales Tax compliance and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter who thrives autonomously and in a team
  • Driven by data and analytics with a passion for impact
  • Tenacious, curious, adaptable, and brings humility and empathy to work
  • Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or a relevant finance qualification is desirable, but strong practical experience is also valued. Tyk provides financial study support for formal qualifications.
