About the RoleFinance Business Partner — Location: Farnborough (3 days per week on-site); Hours: 37 hours per week; Contract Duration: Until 31st March 2025 (with potential for extension); Rate: 29.59/hour PAYE, 39.50/hour Umbrella; Security Clearance: BPSS+ (to be completed by client security team); IR35 Status: Off–payroll working rules apply.Our Client is a pioneering organisation operating in a cutting–edge aerospace domain. They are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team and support strategic financial decision–making across the business.Reporting to the Director of Finance Business Partnering, this mid–level role will work closely with budget owners, senior stakeholders, and the wider finance function to deliver high–quality financial insight, planning, and performance reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor, providing proactive financial guidance and identifying emerging trends and risks.Financial Modelling & Forecasting: Develop tools and models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.Strategic Support: Build robust business cases and ensure financial decisions are well–vetted and aligned with policy.Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex financial data into clear insights for non–finance stakeholders.Performance Reporting: Deliver monthly reports with commentary, track variances, and support mitigation planning.Cost Analysis: Provide detailed analysis and insight for overheads and projects.Collaboration: Work closely with Financial Control to ensure accuracy of financial postings.Process Improvement: Drive enhancements in financial systems and processes, including tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365.Ideal Candidate ProfileQualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA)Strong analytical and inquisitive mindsetComfortable working in a fast–paced, innovative environmentSkilled in Excel and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)Excellent communication skills, especially with senior stakeholdersDetail–oriented and capable of handling large data setsIf you think this could be a new and exciting career opportunity for you and you would like to learn more or just for an initial, no–obligation conversation please contact me on (phone number removed) or you can apply directly by following the Easy Apply link and I will contact you as soon as I receive your contact details.This vacancy is being advertised by Belcan #J-18808-Ljbffr
