Divisional Director - Medlock Partners (Specialist in Senior Finance Appointments)

Finance Business Partner

Manchester (hybrid)

Salary £65,000 - £75,000 + bonus + comprehensive benefits

Medlock Partners are partnering with a client, a large private equity backed group based in the North Manchester area, to appoint an experienced, technically competent and commercially focused Finance Business Partner.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of delivery of financial MI (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Business partner with site leads and provide value-added analysis to assist commercial decision making
• Reporting and relationship ownership with key revenue share agreement partner
• Ownership of all intercompany profit adjustments within the division
• Consolidate, manage and deliver annual budgets, forecasting and rolling forecast compilation, ensuring a best-practice process
• Development of new business insight tools
• Internal Control System ownership, including development and implementation of new key controls / financial operating manuals
• Leadership of cashflow management (gross margin and EBITDA generation, capex, working capital)
• Ownership of balance sheet management – assets, liabilities and risk
• Ad-hoc reports including M&A related activity
• Timely delivery of the budget/forecast process and standardisation of processes across the wider business

The ideal candidate will be a confident, qualified Finance Business Partner, with a rounded accounting background within a large complex organisation. You will be a strong communicator, developing trusted relationships with the senior management team and internal/external stakeholders. This role offers a diverse remit within a fast-paced global business and provides opportunities for progression within a larger organisation.
