About The Role

The Finance Manager will be an integral part of the Business Partnering finance team supporting Tech Catalyst BU, playing a crucial role in liaising with the Centre of Excellence (CoE) and the Management Information (MI) Lead community. This role is aimed at inspiring and empowering the team to achieve their best, uphold the PwC ethos of quality and integrity, and deliver distinctive outcomes. The role focuses on enhancing processes, ensuring outputs align with strategic finance goals, and leveraging the Operate MI Lead for specialised support.

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Support Business Partners in delivering accurate and insightful MI within the Tech Catalyst team to achieve commercial outcomes.
  • Directly engage with stakeholders to ensure finance-related outputs are fit for purpose and support business objectives.
  • Lead efforts in tooling for forecasting and supporting financial planning cycles.
  • Work with PowerBI and other data tools to provide visual finance insights, leveraging leading technology responsibly to innovate and deliver.
  • Organise and manage finance materials and resources to ensure they are coherent and readily available in one place for easy access and utilisation.
  • Inspire and empower team members, fostering a positive, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and learning.
  • Serve as a catalyst for team learning by introducing new processes, releases, and tools, ensuring the team is up to speed with available software and technology advancements.
  • Collaborate with MI Lead community and CoE to share insights and drive best practices, including leveraging the Operate MI Lead as needed.

Qualifications

  • You are qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA (or an international equivalent).
  • Strong leadership and motivational abilities within a finance context.
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholder management experience in finance, fostering open dialogue.
  • Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and MI reporting, applying a business mindset to increase success.
  • Proven track record in finance process improvement and adoption of new technologies, championing quality and integrity.
  • Interest in generative AI and technology-driven finance insights, encouraging curiosity and experimentation.
  • Proficient in data visualisation tools, such as PowerBI, creating value by connecting insights with stakeholder needs.
