About the role

As Finance Manager across the Customer Supply Chain, you will provide finance leadership and decision support to the Logistics and Commercial Operations leadership team. You will also be accountable for reporting, analysis and forecasting of costs, as well as being part of the governance and decision-making processes, to ensure that we deliver in year performance, balancing service resilience and cost. You will lead the development of key insights to unlock value, working closely with the leadership teams to influence and positively impact the outcomes that the customer supply chain delivers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as a finance business partner across the Customer Supply Chain, supporting performance delivery and harmonising processes
  • Deliver financial insights and analysis to leadership, highlighting performance against budget, forecast, and prior year
  • Identify risks and opportunities early, working cross-functionally to drive a proactive, ‘no surprises’ culture
  • Lead ad hoc financial analysis to inform decision-making and corrective actions
  • Ensure strong financial governance and control across supply chain financial statements
  • Support strategy development to improve service, efficiency, cost, and cash across the Customer Supply Chain
  • Drive simplification and consistency in processes, systems, and ways of working across the team
  • Build financial capability through coaching, knowledge sharing, and role modelling company values

Experience and Key Attributes

  • Self starter, able to work under own initiative, identify and then deliver solutions to business and finance problems.
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver cut through in a fast paced rapidly changing environment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and an ability to distil key messages and make recommendations from complex and ambiguous datasets
  • Good engagement and influencing skills, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders to influence and drive change
  • Background in FMCG and supply chain preferable – retailer or manufacturer
  • CIMA qualified with experience (other financial qualifications will also be considered)
