Equifind are working with a fast-growing management consultancy group in London to recruit a Finance Manager (Projects) on a 12-month full-time contract. With a strong track record of advising both private and public sector clients on strategy, transformation, and operational improvement, this is a unique chance to play a central role in the firm’s ambitious growth journey.

This is a hands-on leadership role with plenty of variety — from steering monthly reporting and cashflow forecasting to driving automation and shaping process improvements.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead monthly and annual reporting, including group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and board/bank reporting
  • Coordinate overseas accounting to ensure smooth group reporting
  • Own the annual group audit process
  • Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting cycle
  • Oversee cashflow forecasting, payments, and treasury operations
  • Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the finance team
  • Strengthen internal controls and deliver finance transformation projects, including system automation
  • Partner with client teams to ensure timely, accurate contracting and financial insights

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with solid post-qualification experience
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including group reporting and balance sheet control
  • Advanced Excel skills; exposure to Xero and finance system implementation a plus
  • Experience working in small to mid-sized finance teams
