A great role has arisen for a Supply Chain Finance Manager to join a fantastic FMCG company based in Manchester on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a great opportunity offering hybrid working options and great exposure to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead period review meetings with senior stakeholders, driving discussion on performance, risks, and opportunities across the supply chain.
Manage a small team
Lead the Supply Chain Period-End and Forecasting Cycles
Manage timely and accurate financial submissions from Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Inventory teams.
Ensure commentary is clear, concise, and insight-driven to support financial results.
Own the production of the Supply Chain Reporting Packs
Prepare and present period-end and forecast reporting packs to the Supply Lead Team.
Drive Cross-Functional Finance Projects, take the lead on ad-hoc initiatives involving both finance and operational teams, ensuring delivery of project objectives, timelines, and financial impact.
Serve as the key contact for FP&A, coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions and aligning supply chain inputs with broader business reporting.
Identify and implement process enhancements to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and value of Supply Chain Finance outputs.
Key Attributes
Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA Finance professional with 3+ years of post-qualified experience; FMCG Manufacturing experience preferred
Demonstrate strong communications skills, have the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
Skilled in leading others to meet critical deadlines, with a proactive approach to accountability and performance.
