Halliday Marx have partnered with a famous Media business to hire a Finance Manager on an interim basis for 6 months (Could go longer)

£400-£450 per day (Inside IR35)

Hybrid working (2/3 days a week in the office)

6 months (Likely to extend)

Duties:

• Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of financial governance frameworks and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
• Develop, review, and monitor risk management processes, identifying areas of financial exposure and recommending mitigations.
• Provide oversight of financial reporting processes, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and transparency.
• Partner with operational and editorial teams to embed strong financial control practices across the business.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit, External Audit, and Assurance functions to support reviews and implement recommendations.
• Monitor key control metrics and report to senior management on compliance, risks, and control performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure efficiency and resilience.
• Support training and upskilling across the organisation to strengthen financial accountability and compliance culture.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• SAP experience would be desired
• Experience working on finance projects
• Experience working with international clients
• Experience with the application of Finance governance and control principles
