Job Title: Finance Operations Compliance Manager

Location: Glasgow | Hybrid

I have partnered with an international organisation as they are searching for an experienced Finance Operations Compliance Manager. This position is essential for ensuring that all financial operations adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. As a Compliance Manager, you will leverage your expertise in accounting principles and compliance standards to establish and oversee control measures. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage audits, and continuously evaluate and enhance our compliance framework, particularly in accounts payable.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and uphold policies and procedures for accounts payable and expenses, ensuring alignment with regional laws and regulations.
• Revise processes in response to updates in accounting standards, legal requirements, and tax obligations across various jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with functional managers to ensure compliance with SRA regulations.Conduc
• t assessments to identify risks within finance operational processes.Establ
• ish and manage a vendor due diligence process to evaluate and monitor vendor compliance.Work a
• longside the Accounts Payable Manager to develop training programs and guidance on compliance policies and procedures.Genera
• te and analyse compliance metrics reports.Provid
• e regular updates to management regarding compliance status.Partne
• r with the Financial Control team to ensure a holistic approach to compliance.Effect
• ively communicate compliance requirements to relevant stakeholders.Knowle
• dge of or part-qualified in ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, or ICAEW, or equivalent experience.Strong
• analytical and problem-solving abilities.Capabi
