We’re on a mission to transform our financial system and processes for HUK and our Star Pubs business and build new ERP systems which will become our digital backbone. Our Star Pubs business has over 2,000 outlets and this new system will ensure that Star Pubs has the platform it needs to efficiently and effectively run Britain’s best pub business with the right capabilities for all our outlets.

You don’t have to have an accountancy qualification for this position, but we do need someone “qualified by experience”, this means someone who can confidently manage, monitor and enhance finance system processes, controls and reconciliations.
The Role
- Reporting to the Finance System Manager, this new role will be key to the successful implementation of the new Star Pubs ERP system (Business Central (BC)), responsible for post implementation monitoring and accountable for ongoing maintenance and governance post go-live. Key responsibilities for this role will be to build knowledge of the new BC system and become an in-house SME.
- support user testing for the new system.
- become responsible for the BC system structure and accuracy of underlying finance Masterdata.
- document BC finance systems processes, including impact on other HUK systems and projects.
- manage the BC upgrade programme cycle.
- business partner directly with Star Pubs finance business groups to resolve finance system and master data issues including managing the SAP release cycle.
Our ways of working
Our office sites operate a hybrid model. You’ll spend Tuesdays, Thursdays and one other day in the office and two days from home, although you’re more than welcome to come and work from the office on those days too.
