About the role:

Apointe are exclusively partnering with a leading business embarking on a critical finance systems transformation project. We’re looking for an experienced Finance Systems Project Manager to lead the cutover to a new Microsoft finance platform and drive optimisation across finance workflows and processes. This is a hands-on delivery role, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, technology, and transformation. You’ll play a key part in ensuring a smooth system transition, minimising business disruption, and helping the finance team unlock real process improvements.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the cutover from legacy finance systems to new Microsoft system
• Oversee data migration, configuration, testing, and go-live activity
• Work closely with internal finance teams and external vendors to ensure successful delivery
• Analyse and redesign finance workflows to drive efficiency and automation
• Manage stakeholder engagement, communication, and change adoption
• Identify and resolve risks and issues to keep the project on track

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience managing finance system implementations or transitions
• Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or Business Central
• Strong understanding of finance operations and processes
• Excellent project management skills (Prince2, PMP or Agile preferred)
• Confident engaging senior stakeholders and finance leaders
• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and a collaborative style
