Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Financial Accountant based in Edinburgh (strong hybrid working) paying up to £53,000 base salary, plus excellent bonus and pension wider benefits.

The Role

The position of Financial Accountant will work alongside a highly talented technical accounting team, and will also be involved in high-profile global projects. The key components will include:

  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders internally and externally across the globe
  • Involvement in global projects including M&A and process improvement
  • Preparation of statutory accounts for various entities including consolidations
  • External audit preparation including liaising with External Auditors
  • Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls and systems

What You'll Bring

We are keen to engage with qualified Accountants who qualified in audit from a top-tier Accountancy Firm/Practice and are seeking their first in-house move to industry. The individual will have had exposure to large and complex clients, ideally under IFRS and group exposure. You should also have the ability to confidentially communicate with senior stakeholders, including non-financial colleagues, both internally and externally.
