This role is responsible for the preparation of legal entity accounts for UK, Luxembourg, Jersey and Guernsey companies and supporting the Group Reporting team with accounting and reporting requirements. The Financial Accountant will liaise with external auditors, the wider Finance team and legal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of legal entity financial statements, FRS (UK GAAP), Companies (Jersey) Law,
  • Companies (Guernsey) Law and Lux GAAP using IRIS accounts production system;
  • Processing auditor comments and adjustments, and maintaining version control of the changes;
  • Peer reviews of statutory accounts to check for consistency and accuracy;
  • Reconciliation of the Groups Legal entity investments and share capital;
  • Assist with the Group year-end audit deliverables and liaising with external auditors;
  • Management of the statutory accounts audit timetable;
  • Preparing the result allocations under Lux GAAP;
  • Preparing accounting memos for the external auditors on statutory account matters including - intercompany recoverability;

Skills and Experience

  • Qualified or finalist ACCA, ACA or similar;
  • Experience of working in a similar role within a fast-paced multi-site business; Strong team working and interpersonal skills;
  • Good attention to detail, methodical and takes pride in work;
  • Able to meet multiple deadlines and multi-task, using initiative to prioritise.
  • Previous accounts preparation experience is advantageous.

We operate a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home / site location.
