Role Description

In this role, you will lead the development of best practices across all fraud and financial crime teams, ensuring the department delivers its plan in an efficient and compliant manner. You will support the fraud operational teams by ensuring their industry knowledge and skills are developed in line with the continuously changing market and advancing technologies. You will also ensure adherence to Company procedures and regulatory requirements. This role can be based from any of our UK offices with the expectation to be on-site twice a month. This is also open to Home-based work. You will be expected to travel to sites as required.

Salary Information

Pay: Circa £40,000 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You

  • Building strong relationships and influencing across the organisation to ensure delivery of all business plans.
  • Acting as a technical subject matter expert within your specialism, and guiding others using your knowledge and experience.
  • Representing Allianz within the wider industry by attending conferences and seminars.
  • Supporting Senior Management and participating in the production of annual business plans.

Essential Skills

  • Able to demonstrate sound technical understanding of the business unit being led, as well as wider stakeholders, underpinned by expert knowledge in chosen specialism to guide, inform, and influence others.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to build and maintain respectful team dynamics, supported by effective leadership and communication capabilities.
  • Proven ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders, suppliers, and senior management, with a track record of driving change within both the team and the wider business.
  • Skilled in creating and leveraging effective networks across the business and wider industry, supported by strong awareness of market developments and the ability to initiate complementary change.
  • Good understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to the role.

Desirable Skills

  • Financial fraud qualifications.
