Overview

MCS Group is working with a public sector organisation to recruit a temporary Finance Performance Officer for 6 months. You will control revenue and capital estimates to enable the organisation to agree spending plans and provide financial guidance to all levels of management.

You will contribute to post-project evaluation, develop the organisation's management accounts systems for accurate reporting, attend meetings, support managers, advise on Treasury management, and provide information on the portfolio of assets.

Duration: 6 months

Location: Antrim

Pay rate: £25 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm

The person

To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate the following:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance or Accountancy
• Member by examination of CCAB recognised body
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a computerised accounting environment at a senior level

Candidates who do not meet the academic qualification above will be considered if they have 4 years' relevant experience at a senior level.
