London | £65,000 - £73,000 + share options + Benefits | Hear from the team Our Finance teamOur Finance team is growing and we are looking for a detailed & collaborative FP&A Reporting & Consolidation, Senior Analyst to join our team. You will work as part of a team that manages the P&L and Balance Sheet on a Global level and helps the businesses make strategic financial decisions, while also working closely with several key stakeholders such as Investor Relations, Financial Reporting and the US/Europe teams.
As our FP&A Reporting & Consolidation, Senior Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting Monzo's growth aspirations and ensuring we meet our P&L commitments. This role involves partnering with various teams across Monzo to analyse the performance of our business across different geographies. The ideal candidate will be adept at both detailed data analysis and strategic big-picture thinking, and comfortable supporting new business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing all forecasting and analysis for Monzo Group, including the annual budget, interim forecasts, and multi-year plans.
- Preparing management information, insights, and reports for the senior leadership team, identifying emerging issues and potential future challenges.
- Supporting the development of strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Independently building relationships and collaborating across the business to provide financial perspectives.
- Ensuring financial management aligns with both short-term and long-term business plans.
Qualifications
- Have demonstrable experience in financial consolidation and reporting, particularly working with senior leaders
- Are qualified through a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience
- Hold strong financial modelling (advanced Excel/Google Sheets) experience
- Have great analytical & problem solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, issues and recommend actions
- Hold good interpersonal & influencing skills, ability to engage across various internal functions to develop, get buy-in and deliver outcomes across teams
- Have the ability to confidently present data in a meaningful and effective way; understanding the needs of the end users and tailoring presentations to their requirements
- Have experience building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders
- Have experience building business cases, presenting and debating investment choices
- Demonstrate ability to be hands-on and enjoy supporting colleagues, projects or tasks both big or small
- Have strong attention to detail and organisational skills, able to support with developing new processes and streamlining existing processes to create efficiencies

We offer flexible working hours and trust you to work enough hours to do your job well, and at times that suit you and your team. This role can be based in our London office, and we are also open to distributed working within the UK (with the expectation of 1-2 days weekly working from our London office). £65,000 - £73,000 + share options. £1,000 learning budget each year to use on books, training courses and conferences.
