Financial Planning & Analysis Lead - 6-Month FTC (With Strong Potential to Go Permanent)

London | Hybrid | Consumer / Digital / Growth Business

A high-growth, values-driven consumer brand is looking for an FP&A Lead to join its Finance team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of converting to permanent. This is a rare opportunity to join a purpose-led, tech-enabled organisation operating across multiple European markets, known for its thoughtful culture, award-winning customer experience and commitment to long-term impact.

Working within a collaborative Finance function, you'll play a critical role in supporting UK Cost of Goods (COGs) and gross margin analysis, partnering closely with commercial, operations and range teams. You'll also gain exposure to wider group FP&A, treasury and central cost management as the role evolves.

The Role

Reporting into the senior Finance leadership team, you will:

  • Lead the annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting process for UK COGs, partnering across Operations, Commercial and Range teams.
  • Produce weekly and monthly performance reporting, continuously refining insight and accuracy.
  • Analyse gross margin performance at month-end and support the preparation of commentary for the wider business.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions and take full ownership of your remit.
  • Identify key trends, risks and opportunities, offering proactive solutions.

Longer-term opportunities include:

  • Ad-hoc analysis, financial modelling and business partnering across new initiatives.
  • Supporting group treasury activities, including cash management and forecasting.
  • Ownership of central cost budgeting, forecasting and month-end analysis.
  • Contributing to the implementation of an FP&A tool and optimisation of the ERP (NetSuite).

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you are:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 3+ years' FP&A experience.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and financial modelling (cashflow modelling experience is a bonus).
  • Experienced with NetSuite and excited to help enhance the way the business uses finance systems.
  • Comfortable taking ownership, juggling priorities and working at pace.
  • A logical thinker, collaborative problem-solver and confident communicator.
  • A team player who values diversity, inclusion, curiosity and continuous improvement.

If you're energised by working in a fast-moving, creative, consumer-led environment and want to have meaningful impact quickly, this is an exceptional next step.

Working Style & Culture

The organisation operates with a flexible hybrid model, trusting teams to balance office and remote work in a way that supports collaboration and wellbeing. You'll join a supportive, inclusive culture that values thoughtfulness, transparency and learning, with access to great benefits, personal development opportunities and a team that genuinely cares.
