FP&A Manager | Retail | £70-80k | SW London | Hybrid

I am currently working with a fast-growing retail and consumer business looking to hire an FP&A Manager into a newly created role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a strong brand presence across both online and physical retail, at an exciting stage of its growth journey.

The opportunity

• Newly created FP&A Manager position reporting into senior finance leadership
• Broad commercial remit to extract meaningful insights from data and drive business performance
• High visibility role partnering closely with Heads of Departments and wider leadership
• Opportunity to influence day-to-day operations as well as long-term strategic planning

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Provide deep financial analysis to drive decisions on cost, pricing, and capital investment
• Lead budgeting and reforecasting processes using robust retail modelling
• Present clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders to support decision making
• Model cash flows and covenants to support business strategy and financing requirements
• Drive improvements in reporting and analysis through modern tools and approaches

About you

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or Masters in Finance / Economics
• Strong FP&A experience within retail, consumer, or FMCG sectors OR coming from Big 4 / corporate finance looking to move into industry
• Confident business partner with a proactive, commercial mindset and willingness to challenge existing processes
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is advantageous
• Experience within private equity backed or highly leveraged environments is desirable
• Previous M&A exposure is a plus
