Job Description

FP&A Manager (Executive Reporting), Financial Services Start-Up, London, £75k + 20% bonus + 20% pension

We are exclusively partnering with a leading Financial Institution start-up formed by a group of the UK's top retail banks. This is a newly created role and an outstanding opportunity for a qualified, commercially astute FP&A Manager to join a business leading the UK's financial access.

Reporting directly to the Senior FP&A Manager and working closely with the Head of Finance, you'll be the link between complex financial data and the Executive Leadership Team, the Board, and external stakeholders - crafting compelling narratives that shape decision-making across the organisation.

This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified finance professional who combines technical rigour with a strong storytelling ability and a passion for producing executive-level reporting that drives action. They offer great flexibility, being a predominantly work-from-home business, with the requirement to visit their central London location 1 day per week, with travel paid for.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and deliver high-quality board and executive reports with clear, insightful commentary.
  2. Translate financial data into meaningful and accessible narratives to inform strategic decisions.
  3. Produce regular management information (MI) dashboards and reports.
  4. Conduct deep-dive analysis on performance trends, variances, and key business drivers.
  5. Utilise available tools to support faster, more value-add analysis.
  6. Work closely with senior Directors across Finance, Strategy, and Operations.
  7. Present findings confidently, clearly, and with impact to non-financial audiences.
  8. Extract and manipulate data from core systems.
  9. Build and maintain financial models and reporting templates that support decision-making.
  10. Deliver outputs under pressure and within tight timeframes, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
