Base pay range

Up to £55,000 per year. Hybrid working (3 days in the office).

Overview

This is a well-rounded Financial Accountant role reporting into the Group Finance Manager and responsible for producing periodic statutory accounts as well as supporting the external audit process and ad-hoc project work as required by the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of the statutory annual financial statements.
• Assist in preparing external reporting packs and quarterly regulatory reports.
• Support the external audit process and respond to queries.
• Contribute to process improvements and cross-functional finance change projects.
• Develop strong working relationships with the wider Finance team, and with key contacts around the business.

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, FRS102 and UKGAAP statutory reporting.
• Proven track record within a similar role in Industry or Practice whereby you have produced statutory accounts, not just reviewed them.
• Previous experience within an FCA regulated environment would be desirable.
