Glasgow – Hybrid

Salary up to £60k (DOE)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading global organisation based in Glasgow. Main responsibility for statutory reporting, management information and process improvement. You’ll gain exposure to senior stakeholders and play an important role in the year-end process, all within a supportive and progressive finance function.

Responsibilities

  • Managing accounting for fixed assets, including month-end journals and reconciliations.
  • Contributing to monthly and annual close and consolidation, driving efficiency and process improvements.
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems and ledgers.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts for international entities.
  • Producing statutory accounts for UK subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with FRS 102 and legal requirements.
  • Coordinating with external auditors during the annual audit.
  • Maintaining accounting policy documentation and supporting statutory processes in other jurisdictions.
  • Supporting strategic projects, process improvement, and financial analysis across the business.
  • Ensuring robust risk controls and compliance with internal policies.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must be fully qualified (ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Ideally you will come from an audit background, but this is not essential. You will have a strong technical understanding of FRS 102 and IFRS and experience of group consolidations in an international environment. Applicants will ideally have experience working in an international and multi-currency business, preferably within the professional services sector.
