Financial Reporting Manager – Rural Client Accounts

Be among the first 25 applicants. This permanent, full‑time role (37.5 hrs) based at our Ashby de la Zouch office offers a hybrid working policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to create, present and standardise financial reports.
  • Review and analyse accounting data in Xero for multiple clients monthly and quarterly – bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, variance explanations, cut‑off adjustments.
  • Validate VAT returns for accuracy, deliver feedback to the Client Accountant and support training of client accountants.
  • Support the wider Rural Property Management team in utilising cloud accounting software.

Qualifications

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified (part‑qualified considered if experience adequate).
  • Experience of financial reporting, accounting principles and accounting standards.
  • VAT experience including partial exemption calculations.
  • Experience of Xero and investigative/problem‑solving approach.
  • Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel and training colleagues remotely.
