Salary: c£75,000 - £85,000 (depending on experience) plus 15% of base salary as a benefits allowance plus full benefits listed below.

About the Role

As the Financial Reporting Senior Manager, you will help drive and manage the delivery of a World Class Financial Reporting and Control function in HEINEKEN UK. This includes the overall balance sheet accounting and Financial Reporting for the function, control oversight, governance, and delivery with the HEINEKEN Global Shared Service Centre in Krakow. You will also have overall responsibility for the Balance Sheet reconciliation, accuracy, external financial reporting, internal and external audit requirements in the UK, and business partnering.

The role also involves leading the team of 4 (and indirect management in the shared service centre), transforming financial systems and processes for HUK and our Star Pubs business, and supporting the design, testing, go‑live and stabilisation of new ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage the delivery of financial reporting and control.
  • Oversee balance sheet accounting and reconciliation.
  • Lead internal and external audit and UK audit requirements.
  • Provide technical accounting support for major transactions.
  • Partner cross‑functionally on projects and business strategy.
  • Transform financial systems and processes for HUK and Star Pubs.
  • Lead and develop a team of 4 and indirect management in Krakow.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with extensive post‑qualification experience.
  • Previously managed financial reporting and accounting teams.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Keen focus on effective financial controls and improvement.
  • Strong IFRS technical accounting expertise and commercial understanding.
  • Full of energy and able to bring IFRS technical accounting to life advising on Heineken transactions and new business.
  • Not afraid to actively challenge status‑quo and drive process improvements.
