This role sits within our Financial Reporting Team (FRT) at Bupa Global and plays a key part in supporting our mission. As a Financial Reporting Systems Accountant, you’ll help us make health happen by improving the systems that underpin our financial operations – ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in everything we do.
You’ll be joining a team that’s passionate about innovation and continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity to work with advanced tools like Blackline and Peoplesoft, and to contribute to the enhancement of our reconciliation processes.
How you’ll help us make health happen
- Support the General Ledger team in embedding the Blackline reconciliation tool into daily processes
- Assist with system changes in Peoplesoft and our insurance administration system
- Create and maintain allocation rules (automated journals) within the general ledger
- Ensure timely and accurate implementation of system changes
- Help maximise the use of Blackline to improve efficiency and control
- Work closely with internal teams to support financial reporting and reconciliation accuracy
Key skills/Qualifications needed for this role
- A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or equivalent), or be qualified by experience (please specify on your application)
- Strong experience in process improvement and re-engineering
- Hands-on experience with Blackline or similar reconciliation tools
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- A collaborative mindset and proven ability to work well in a team
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to process financial data quickly
- Resilience and creativity when working to deadlines
- A clear understanding of how your work impacts customer outcomes
