Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced and fully qualified Freelance Fire Risk Assessor to carry out risk assessments across a range of commercial and residential properties. The role involves site inspections, reporting, and providing actionable fire safety recommendations in line with current legislation and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fire risk assessments on various types of buildings
  • Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and suggest mitigation measures
  • Produce clear, detailed, and compliant reports
  • Advise clients on fire safety improvements and legal obligations
  • Ensure assessments align with fire safety regulations

Requirements

  • Recognised Fire Risk Assessor qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Fire, IFE, IFSM, or FRACS)
  • Proven experience across both commercial and residential sectors
  • Up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional indemnity insurance (desirable)
