Fire Safety Manager

Home-based with travel across Berkshire/London/Home Counties

Permanent

I am working with a civil engineering/utilities specialist who is looking for an experienced Fire Safety Manager to join the business. The candidate will be required to be a fire specialist and able to lead the department. The ideal candidate will have strong fire knowledge and be a member of the IFSM, ideally with knowledge within an infrastructure environment or experience across a variety of industries, as this will cover construction, civil engineering, COMAH, among others.

The Fire Safety Manager will be responsible for:

Develop and implement a fire safety strategy
Bring fire expertise to the business and support the wider education throughout the company
Prepare and deliver regular reports for senior management
Ensure all work is compliant and adheres to fire safety regulations

The Fire Safety Manager will have:

5 years of experience working in a Fire Safety-focused position
Proven track record in fire safety management.
Previous experience working in civil engineering or construction is a distinct advantage
Driving license
Strong communicator, both verbal and written
Membership to the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (MIFSM) or Membership to the Institute of Fire Engineers (MIFireE)
