Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer

My client, a market leading global multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Civil and Structural Engineering, is searching for an Assistant Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join and their Flood Risk Team based in Hertford.
It is essential that applicants have a strong MSc and BSc in Civil Engineering or Hydrology and have experience working within UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing or reviewing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Hydraulic Modelling or Drainage Strategies.
Applicants are required to have a keen interest in Flood Risk, Transport and Drainage Engineering and have experience using AutoCAD.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally to work from the office three days a week and have experience using AutoCAD or Microdrainage.
Typically the role will involve varied Flood Risk and Drainage Projects for Residential, Commercial and Industrial Developments for Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities.
Candidates will be required to complete Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Surface Water Management Plans, Soakaway Design, Drainage Strategies, Drainage Design and Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller.
Full training will be provided by the specialist team.
