Flood Risk Consultant

My Client, a UK-based Environmental Consultancy located in Lincoln, is seeking a talented and motivated Flood Risk Consultant to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of impactful projects, contributing to the development of residential, commercial, and industrial sites for both Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.

As a Flood Risk Consultant, you will:

• Deliver high-quality technical work, including Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Estimation, and Flood Resilience strategies.
• Develop and implement innovative Drainage Strategies for diverse projects.
• GIS Mapping and detailed Drainage Designs to support project objectives.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Contribute to climate change adaptation and surface water management initiatives.
  -Nutrient Neutrality Assessments. -Surface Water Management Plans.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A strong academic background in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working for a UK-based consultancy, completing Flood Risk Assessments, WFD Assessments and/or Drainage Strategies.
• Familiarity with property flood resilience (beneficial but not essential).
• Excellent technical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• The ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Living locally to Lincoln s preferred, as this is a hybrid role.
