Job Title: Founding Account Executive

Location: London or Luxembourg (HQ)

MarketLeap is the first complete AI-driven platform that empowers direct-to-consumer (D2C) sellers to scale effortlessly across global marketplaces. By providing a fully integrated software solution, MarketLeap helps D2C sellers focus on core business activities while simplifying operational complexities and marketplace expansion. Since launching in October 2022, MarketLeap has enabled customers to sell in over 30 countries. To date, in two years the company has secured $10.7 million in funding from prominent investors including Smedvig Ventures, Expon Capital, Notion Capital, Motier Ventures, Kima Ventures as well as business angels.

Now, we’re scaling rapidly and looking for ambitious sales professionals to join us on this journey, as we look to launch onto new marketplaces this year and scale both our EU and US operations.

This is an opportunity to get in early with a VC-backed scale-up, work alongside a driven and supportive team that is founded by Amazon executives. About the Role

As an Account Executive at MarketLeap, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth. Owning the full sales cycle and closing new business with some of the most exciting consumer brands in Europe and US. You’ll convert warm leads from our own outbound tool, but you’ll also proactively hunt down new opportunities and drive revenue from day one.

We’re scaling fast, so this is your chance to accelerate your career in Tech ales, get direct exposure to founders and senior leadership, and work towards becoming a future sales leader.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own the full 360° sales cycle - from prospecting to demoing to closing deals

Convert high-quality leads from our own internal sourcing tool and drive self-sourced opportunities

Build strong relationships with marketing and growth leaders at D2C and eCommerce brands

Become a product expert, understanding how MarketLeap helps brands win in competitive markets

Collaborate with the tech and brand management teams to ensure a seamless handover and customer journey

Consistently hit (and smash!) your revenue targets and contribute to MarketLeap’s overall growth

Represent MarketLeap at industry events and webinars, building brand awareness and connections

Provide customer feedback to help shape the future of our product roadmap

About You

4+ years of sales experience - ideally in SaaS, Amazon Agencies or Ecommerce Tech

Previous experience as an SDR/BDR looking to make the jump to an AE role OR an AE looking for their next challenge is preferred but not essential

A proven track record of hitting sales targets and managing pipelines

A hunter mentality with the confidence to prospect and build your own pipeline

Strong communication and presentation skills - comfortable selling to company owners

Highly organized and self-motivated, with a bias for action

Experience in the eCommerce or D2C space is a bonus but not essential

Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDIC or SPIN is a plus
