Why this role stands out
This is a chance to be the first SDR hire in a growing SaaS company with an established product and strong client base. You’ll play a key role in shaping the outbound sales function, working closely with the founder and senior team to build something new and effective from the ground up.
About the company
The business develops science-based assessment tools that help organisations make fairer, faster, and more effective hiring decisions. With over a decade of experience, a global client base, and a reputation for technical expertise combined with approachable support, the company is now ready to expand its outbound sales capability.
The opportunity
- Set up and manage outbound prospecting campaigns across LinkedIn, email, and phone.
- Take ownership of the CRM and outreach workflows, shaping how the sales engine runs.
- Work directly with marketing, product, and leadership to refine messaging and targeting.
- Qualify and hand over warm leads for demos and closing.
- Continuously test and improve processes as you build the function.
What you’ll bring
- Around 12+ months’ experience in SDR, BDR, or outbound roles.
- A consultative approach, you ask smart questions and listen well.
- Curiosity and persistence when it comes to engaging with prospects.
- Comfortable working independently and creating structure where there isn’t any.
- An interest in growing into a broader sales role (e.g., Account Executive or Account Manager).
What’s in it for you
- Hybrid working: 1–2 days a week in a Central London office.
- Benefits: 25 days holiday, 5% employer pension contribution.
- Progression: Clear pathway to Account Executive or Business Development roles.
- Impact: High visibility in a small, collaborative team where your work makes a difference.
The team is small, collaborative, and values thoughtful problem-solving over aggressive selling. It’s a culture where ideas are shared openly, people are trusted to get on with their work, and learning is encouraged.
If you’re looking for a role where you can take ownership, shape the outbound sales approach, and develop your career in a consultative direction, we’d like to hear from you.
