We are seeking a talented individual to join our International Financial Planning & Analysis team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in London. It is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the office.

We are looking for an experienced and highly analytical Finance Manager to support the Darwin Business unit within Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB). This is a fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension or permanent placement at the end of the contract.

This pivotal role involves overseeing revenue reporting and supporting key financial initiatives. Responsibilities include core FP&A processes such as budgeting, operational reviews, strategic planning, forecasting, and month-end analysis, along with leading ad-hoc projects. The position reports to the MMB CFO and is ideally based in London.

The FP&A team collaborates closely with senior stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and transparency. You will support business stakeholders to drive value, challenge decisions, and provide insightful financial analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading revenue budget and forecast preparation, challenging assumptions, and improving models.
  2. Overseeing revenue reporting across Darwin, including SaaS, implementation, and services revenue.
  3. Producing key management reports with insightful commentary.
  4. Assisting in strategic planning and preparing presentations for senior management.
  5. Improving revenue data systems and collaborating to enhance processes.
  6. Participating in revenue review forums and capacity planning meetings.
  7. Partnering with global finance teams for product performance reports and managing intercompany settlements.
  8. Supporting revenue allocations and stakeholder inquiries.
  9. Building financial models to support business requests and system changes.
  10. Managing and mentoring FP&A junior staff.
  11. Acting as the primary finance contact for Darwin revenue-related inquiries.

Requirements:

  1. CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  2. Extensive FP&A experience, including managing budgets and revenue reporting.
  3. Strong financial modelling and controllership skills.
  4. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  5. Business acumen and understanding of business drivers.
  6. Experience in fast-paced, agile environments.
  7. Analytical skills with data-driven insights.
  8. Problem-solving and project management abilities.
  9. Creative thinking, curiosity, and self-motivation.

Preferred:

  1. CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  2. Experience in SaaS, software, or technology sectors.
