PROPOSED SALARY: Up to £85,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We are recruiting an FP&A Manager for the provision of high-quality financial planning and analysis (FP&A) within the FP&A function in BBC Finance. This role is critical to ensuring the delivery of robust short and medium term Divisional financial plans, as well overseeing the provision of insightful analysis which supports business decisions.

YOUR Main RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Senior stakeholders and the Finance teams to understand the end-to-end divisional performance.
- Delivery of Divisional budgets/forecasts in line with Group reporting requirements.
- Oversee the delivery of insightful management reports to both Business and Finance stakeholders by FP&A team.
- Drive forward and evolve Divisional/business management information and reporting based on evolving reporting requirements
- Oversee the delivery of any central Finance reporting requirements
- Be a central point of contact for the Divisional Finance Director, supporting the delivery of the Divisional Finance support model alongside the Senior Finance Business Partner
- Undertake direct line management duties alongside talent development of the FP&A team
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Strong FP&A technical knowledge, coupled with excellent analytical skills and commercial acumen
- Significant experience of end to end financial budgeting and forecasting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify key trends, generate insight and deliver strategic narrative from data and numbers to inform and drive decision making
- Willingness to embrace and support the adoption of new technologies to evolve our approach to budgeting/forecasting and management information
- Proven experience of working with senior stakeholders across both Finance and non-Finance teams to influence decision making.
- Ability to manage numerous stakeholders and ability to explain complex financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Have excellent planning and coordination skills to ensure that results are delivered and deadlines met.
- Experience of leading and coordinating finance teams to deliver a high-quality FP&A service, coupled with the ability to work and collaborate across multi-disciplined finance teams
- Hold a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
