Placing Senior Accounting & Finance Professionals into Financial Services.

Gresham Hunt is representing a leading insurance group, in their search for a Senior FP&A Manager in a newly created position to drive performance in their global team based in Manchester working in a hybrid pattern.

This ambitious insurance group needs a successful Senior FP&A Manager after a series of acquisitions. You will be responsible for supporting M&A activity post acquisition, whilst managing a small team.

Qualifications

• Qualified in a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Commercial mindset with the ability to deliver financial information to financial and non financial stakeholders
• Experience within the Insurance industry is helpful but not a prerequisite of the role

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly MI with analysis on performance
• Ensure accurate budget, forecast, and month end reporting. Analysing financial results, trends, and variances to provide insights to Finance and Senior Leadership
• Partner with a large number of stakeholders across the business (both finance and non-finance) and participate in cross functional projects to drive ROI.
• Be responsible for FP&A consolidation for the total division, working closely with our marketing controllers
• Work with finance heads across the group to align MI & Reporting
• Support M&A activity and track performance post-acquisition
• Annual, quarterly and rolling forecasts as well as strategic input into longer term forecasts
• Insightful analysis around cost and performance
• Manage a small team of analysts
