Most chip design jobs mean writing RTL for another SoC that ends up in a car, a phone, or some disposable gadget.

This one’s different.

You’ll be joining a small, highly technical team that designs ultra-fast digital hardware for satellite communications – the kind of systems that actually get launched into orbit. It’s high-throughput, low-latency design work on FPGAs and ASICs, tackling problems you won’t find in consumer electronics.

Responsibilities

• Developing and verifying RTL in Verilog/SystemVerilog.


• Working on DSP-heavy designs for wireless communications.


• Integrating and validating your work on cutting-edge FPGA platforms.


• Collaborating with experienced engineers across DSP, systems, and hardware.

This is a mid-level position, so you’ll already have solid experience in FPGA design and verification, and you’ll be ready to take on more ownership while still learning from senior specialists around you.

The role is based in Hampshire with hybrid remote working. Salaries are competitive and will reflect the experience you bring.
