Franchise Manager (Decarbonisation)
Location: London / East Anglia (Travel Required)

This is a role for an autonomous individual with experience in developing, growing and managing franchisees within a renewables-focused environment. The company is a new arm of one of the UK\'s largest energy suppliers, focused on decarbonisation to help the UK reach Net Zero. The business plans to build a franchise network of renewables installers, focusing on heating and solar technologies. It combines the security of a large parent company with the agility of a start-up.

You will wear multiple hats, acting as an advisor for growth, performance and general franchisee guidance. Responsibilities include franchise growth and development, operational support to ensure franchisees comply with industry regulations and standards, performance management, and maintaining alignment between the franchisor and franchisees.

The ideal candidate will have field-based experience supporting SME businesses, preferably within a franchised model. Familiarity with renewable technologies (Solar, EV, Heat Pumps, Battery Storage) is advantageous. Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of technical compliance, installations andcustomers\' renewables journey are required.

The Person

  • Experience in field-based SME support - ideally within a franchised business model
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems and installation
  • Highly motivated and autonomous approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of UK regulations (G98/99, MCS, etc)
