We're Hiring: Freelance Project Manager
Location: Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside
Sectors: Waterworks
Project Types: AMP-8 Framework
FREELANCE: £300 to £450+ per day (dependant on seniority)
Duration: 6 months +

We are hiring for Junior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Senior Project Managers for the upcoming AMP-8 Framework projects across the Northwest. Ideal candidates must be comfortable in NEC-3 as this is the system being used, and also be experienced within the waterworks sector. This will be client side work dealing with design and cost control.

Duties of the Freelance Project Manager include:

  • Lead delivery of AMP-8 waterworks project from a design and cost control client side.
  • Work and liaise with clients day-to-day.
  • Resource planning, schedule, cost planning, quality and resource planning.
  • Manage H&S and ensure construction plans, site inductions, and safety monitoring is in place.
  • Ensure project meets environmental permits, and AMP-8 environmental targets.
  • Ensure project runs smoothly on day to day basis
  • Record on-site progress and lookaheads.

Required Qualifications/Experience as a Freelance Project Manager:

  • Experience as a Project Manager (waterworks)
  • CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
  • UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
