Job Opportunity: French Speaking Health & Safety Advisor (Contract | Hybrid Option)

Location: Flexible (Hybrid – Office (France) & Remote)

Contract Duration: Initial 12 months (with potential for extension)

We’re seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This is a critical role focused on ensuring the highest standards of safety in offshore construction operations, with a strong emphasis on document preparation, process safety, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.

As part of our Safety & Compliance team, you’ll play a key role in supporting field operations, enhancing procedural integrity, and preparing for and executing internal and external audits on commercial diving projects across the UK and beyond.

Develop, maintain, and manage diving safety documentation (JSAs, HSE plans, risk assessments, SOPs, etc.)

Lead and support the preparation and execution of safety and compliance audits.

Conduct Document and HIRA reviews, safety inspections, and operational readiness assessments.

Provide expert input on process safety improvements across construction operations.

Collaborate with project managers and site teams to promote a strong safety culture.

Support incident investigations and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Highly knowledgeable in UK / French Legislation, HSE guidelines, and associated safety codes.

Proven experience in audit preparation and execution, documentation control, and compliance follow-through.

Strong background in document preparation and process safety management.

Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent); NEBOSH Diploma preferred.

Excellent communication and reporting skills, with a high standard of written documentation.

Comfortable working independently and within multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work setting.

Location: Hybrid working model (remote with site/office visits as needed)
